Last year around this same time the hot question around Tahoe was "Are you going to wanderlust?"...'wonder, huh?'. I had no clue what this event was that almost EVERYONE was talking about. Turns out that it is a yoga and music festival that is held at Squaw:

Wanderlust is a one-of-a-kind festival bringing together the world's best yoga teachers and best performers in rock & roll, all in a setting of breathtaking natural beauty.  It is a place to relax, unwind, bend, dance, revel, and contemplate. It’s a community of like-minded people who share a common set of interests and values.  It’s a chance to escape the mundane and dwell in the extraordinary. It’s healthy hedonism and spiritual exploration. Most of all, it’s a long weekend of satisfying, stick-to-your-ribs fun.

Now I understand why the traffic was such a pain in the ass the last couple of days! The first nights Moby and Pretty Lights played -- a few of the girls at work were gossiping all about it. Saturday night, Bassnecter was playing (dubstep -- dancing music). We all decided to rondevu at Squaw for a goodnight of partying, dancing and hanging out outside of work. I had a blast -- plus, it was really neat that I got a free ticket!
rawr. Cruiser cruisin.
Tan beauties. A few co-workers.
One word: Scorpio
Not really.

Doubles! Haven't seen that since I left CB.
Man Down.

Dance Party.

So, overall it was a great experience. I had a blast. The people I was with made it wicked fun. I would love to go back next year. Dub step music isn't tooooo shabby. I actually really like it -- totally different than what I am used to. I have actually been listening to a lot of it the last few days..... this weekend made me excited for burning man -- just a few more days. The beat is constantly stuck in my head...which is funny. I am quickly starting to cross stuff off my bucket list...I guess that means that it is only time to add more to it, Right? I love hanging out with my friends all the time. This summer is turning out to be really exhilarating. I floated the river on Sunday, managed to leave my camera at home.ha. Of course. It was fun though -- Sunday Funday...Today has been a lazy/clean up day. Plenty of time to reflect on the weekend. I managed to squeeze a lot of fun into just a matter of days! Now it is time to get serious and start to figure out my life a little bit.

spend it. But you can’t keep it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get
it back."
