Turkey Tetrazziani

It's moose riding season in VT!
The best eggs, bacon, hash browns, OJ and coffee I've had in a while!
That's my name! Don't wear it out!
Indian bunny!
Birthday party, Banx really enjoyed the hat
The cake I made, it was so much fun and ended up tasting pretty good too!
The Lyme cemetery. These are some of the first settlers in Lyme, NH. The headstones are made out of 3 different types of stone. As you can see they have been repaired, actually, this past summer. It was pretty neat to see so much history right here in the back yard!
Walking the dog
Healing for cars
I don't know about those Russian spies!
We were REALLY bummed out that the fruit jell-o wasn't on sale at the P&C, Bummer!
I was planning on eating this entire round of cheese, but I didn't want to ruin my dinner.
My reflection in the water
Banx loves to give hugs!
I'll eat your leg off!
One hand on the wheel, the other one not surprisingly holding a coffee but taking a picture!
Oh, lovely weather!
These are probably really healthy! ha ha
Ah, ya! Asian market!

Well, lets see a lot has happened since last time I blogged. We are all staying good and busy while home! Shopping, adventuring, paper writing, cooking! Wowzer! I have taken a lot of pics on my iPhone so the easiest way for everyone to see all the cool stuff we are doing is to see them! I am so happy to be back here and spending some time with my mommy! It's totally awesome! I went to Nordica the other day and hung out with Kate for a little bit, that was wicked fun and I got a few new duds that I cant wait to rock as soon as I get back to skiing! THANK YOU! Turkey day was fun too! Annie and Paul (Ed's sister) came up and enjoyed a lovely and COLORFUL meal with us! By colorful I mean, purple mashed potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, onions, etc. It was SO yummy! We had an organic turkey from a farm just down the road, 18 lbs! It was really tasty and I believe you could taste the difference. YUMMM! The next day was mom's birthday!!! We had a little surprise party with a cake that I made with fondant and all sorts of fun stuff, the best part was that she had no clue I made her one until Sarah and I brought it out! We enjoyed a lovely bottle of champagne with dinner..SOOO GOOD! After staying up until 3 am to try and finish a paper that I have been assigned for Criminal Justice (which I would like to thank everyone SO SO SO much that have help that has been provided on trying to figure out an almost impossible paper prompt!) I woke up fairly early (for me on a Saturday) and ventured to meet my mom is Quechee with Sarah. We went to the Cabot store which has Minnetonka moccasins and they had the pair I have been scouting all over for! How stoked was I!?!? YA! Looks like my mom has one Christmas present down so far! After that we went to The Farmer's dinner for a little brunch! OH MY GOODNESS, you can never go wrong at that place! Everything was SO good! My mom, Sarah and I were planning on going to hike mt. Cardigan, but, when we got up there and to our surprise there was just a dab more snow than we expected, so we opted for another hike in Hanover called velvet rocks, which, is part of the Appalachian trial, so that was pretty neat to be able to go on. Tonight, as I am sitting here blogging and getting dread to correct the dreaded CRJ paper my mom has a begging dog staring her down while she makes turkey tetrazziani! YUMMM!

High I-Q

Dartmouth ski way....where they name ski runs after smart person thingys...
I was trying to explain how these things would be TOTALLY AWESOME for sledding!
So, Dartmouth has this really cool cabin system that is run out of the DOC. It's pretty cool...it consists of cabins that sleep handfuls of people all over New Hampshire. Some are accessed by foot, other you can drive to. They are for the students and faculty to rent and go spend some time in. One of the cabins that we went to today (in a grove of trees on the Dartmouth ski way) was called Nunnemacher. Luckily, the door was open and so we were able to go inside and see what the cabin was like. It would be super cool to be a college kid and have the opportunity to go out and camp in one of these cabins for the weekend. Depending on how you are about your personal space you could cram a TON of people in here. There are cots, bunk beds and mattresses throughout the house for sleep. The cabin was VERY basic compare to my families camp in the Adirondacks in upstate New York; these cabins just had the basics, fire place, chairs, table, pots and pans, sink and a privy...oh ya and of course some ping bong balls! ha ha ha! I laughed when I found those! The people that had just left the cabin earlier that day said how much fun they had there the night before...I can only imagine. ha! The other one that we went to was kind of near the ski way off a place called Dorchester road. This cabin was smaller, nicer, and right on a lake. I guess that in the summer time there is a boat you can take out, this one you can also drive to, unlike the other one where you had to hike/ski to. Both cabins were VERY cool!
Each cabin is tied to a person that is an alumni of the college.
Look it up. (if you don't know)
Inside Nunnemacher
True east coast ice skiing.
Home again, home again! King Arthur flours, Nike's and a cup of coffee in hand I couldn't be more comfortable.
Really gross.
(it was in the co-op and they called it George. It was an ocean catfish. His(?) diet was lobster and shrimp (hard life) and instead of having fins like a fish it looked like an eel.
Weird looking, still gross.
Really? That seems cliche to me...just a tad bit...

So, I am back in NH right now. It has been totally awesome. I have enjoyed being near the family and eating some GREAT food. Last night I cooked some home made Cream of Leek soup and some vinegar chicken saute, tonight we had ABERDEEN PIE! SOOOOO GOOD! I could probably eat that every single day. My mom and I got these really cool slippers today from Dan and Witts that are called Foamtrecks (or something like that) they are clog slippers made out of foam...super light weight and warm! We obviously went on a hike up the ski way with Banx. She is SO funny to watch...she was running up and down and all over the place. She is so well behaved for 6 and 1/2 months...now she is happily past out in her cage. ha!
Tomorrow Sarah and I are probably going to do some crafts and baking and fun home stuff like that. It has been so COLD here its amazing...LIKE FREEZING! I wish I could bring some of this cold weather back with me and that way we can get some snow!

Common word: Ski

So, its pretty early in the season still. The snow at Boreal is quickly melting away because of the HOT weather that we have been having out in the goold ole' sunshine state of California. Sami brought her camera out to play around a few days ago, she got a couple frames of me...pretty cool! I am really excited for Northstar and Squaw to open so that there are some bigger features (NOT JUMPS! just jibs : ) ) It was REALLY FUN THO! ITS SOOO NICE TO BE ON SNOW!

100% Apple Juice! Power drink before skiing!
The Sierras. There is ALWAYS a cop on the left hand side up there....ugh
House mascot. He was rescued while I was cleaning the back yard.
How we communicate.
I say in about 3 years we MIGHT be able to get a tv or have the TV fixed.
The Smarty pants that I tend to be in the morning left her boots in the car the night before...of course!
My friends are BA! LOL!

My life right now? humm? School, school, school, sleep, ski, school school school. It is almost finals I can hardly believe it! Tomorrow morning I am headed to the N-H! I can't wait to see my MOMMY! So all you people back east, here I come for 10 days! Wahoo! I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner! YUMMY!

I am PRAYING that when I come back I can start working! That would be fabulous!

I was at Boreal yesterday and I was hitting the corrugated tube, I went BOOM pretty hard. Hard enough to rip a hole into my long underwear, and leave a nice bruise the size of a ohh idk 3 baseballs on my thigh and of course I thought I had to deal with another broken thumb...but the goodnews is, is that my thumb isn't as swollen today and doesn't hurt AS much.

OHhhhhh Chris and I saw the new James Bond movie last night! I really liked it...I know weird I actually liked an action movie!
we found this new place with our friends Trent and Alix that is called Sushi Lovers, they have a really good roll there called a lemon drop and also a peanut roll! Totally different, butttttttt NOTHING will beat my love for sushi at Rick Shaw! That lucky clam....YUMMMM!!!

So I also have a little dirt on my CRJ teacher Dr. Chaires. He can kick rocks. Thats all.

WOW! I still have to pack...my goal is to bring a carry on back! ya...we will see! ha

I can taste the Turkey now!
